StockingMap is a reference site. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no forms, and we do not ask for or store your name, email, or anything else about you.

What stays in your browser

The light/dark theme switch saves your choice in your own browser's storage; it never leaves your device. The locate button on the map asks your browser for your position solely to move the map there. Your position is used in the page and is not sent to us or stored anywhere.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes standard connection logs (IP address, browser type) to run and protect the service, under Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Advertising

The site is supported by ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. How Google uses information from sites that use its services is described at How Google uses data.
